二十四史 Description
二十四史，中國古代各朝撰寫的二十四部史書[1]的總稱，是被歷來的朝代納為正統的史書，故又稱“正史[2] ”。它上起传说中的黄帝（约前2550年），止于明朝崇祯十七年（1644年），计3213卷，约4000万字，用统一的有本纪、列传的纪传体编写。1921年，中华民国大总统徐世昌下令将《新元史》列入正史，与“二十四史”合称为“二十五史”，而多数地方不将新元史列入，而改将《清史稿》列为二十五史之一，或者将两书都列入正史，则形成了“二十六史”。《二十四史》，即：《史记》（西汉·司马迁撰）、《汉书》（东汉·班固撰）、《后汉书》（南朝·宋·范晔等撰）、《三国志》（晋·陈寿撰）、《晋书》（唐·房玄龄等撰）、《宋书》（梁·沈约撰）、《南齐书》（梁·萧子显撰）、《梁书》（唐·姚思廉撰）、《陈书》（唐·姚思廉撰）、《魏书》（北齐·魏收撰）、《北齐书》（唐·李百药撰）、《周书》（唐·令狐德棻等撰）、《南史》（唐·李延寿撰，《北史》（唐·李延寿撰）、《隋书》（唐·魏徵等撰）、《旧唐书》（后晋·刘昫等撰）、《新唐书》（宋·欧阳修宋祁撰）、《旧五代史》（宋·薛居正等撰）、《新五代史》（宋·欧阳修撰）、《宋史》（元·脱脱等撰）、《辽史》（元·脱脱等撰）、《金史》（元·脱脱等撰）、《元史》（明·宋濂等撰）、《明史》（清·张廷玉等撰）。
